Botox-Botulinum Toxin

The Botulinum Toxin is a purified substance, derived from a bacterium, which blocks muscle nerve signals. By injecting minimal amounts into specific facial muscles the impulse is blocked and the muscle contraction is temporarily decreased, which allows the correction of expression wrinkles.

The effect is felt 3 to 7 days after treatment. The improvement of wrinkles lasts 4 to 6 months. The effect disappears gradually and the action of the muscles is restored and it is necessary to repeat the procedure at the end of that time in order to maintain the results.

Mesobotox – More diluted and applied with the mesotherapy technique, Botox has an effect on reducing wrinkles and fine lines on the face, neck and décolleté. Also has optimum results in mixed, oily and acneic skins, the oil getting controlled.

In addition to its use in combating wrinkles, botulinum toxin has many applications: for example, it relaxes the platysma, the anterior muscle of the neck. In this case, it results as a gentle lifting, improving for a few months the definition of the jaw.
